A bicycle manufacturing industry is environmentally friendly and has everything to do with the game's focus on being educational.

How would you implement it so it would be different than other existing industries?

Yes.. a description of resources and how they will interact with existing production chains (cars, AS, fashion) would be helpful. We already see this issue with cars and AS - the competition between the car industry and AS for the same resources and how it plays out in terms of profit is not really ideal. At least in my opinion.

These bicycles, unless they are made out of wood are just another competitor for resources and we all know how that is going for existing car industry.

I think that cycling is a good sport for people and I think that all people should cycle to their jobs and so on to be more healthy.I don't think that there will be a big competition between the bicycle and car industry because, from my experience, almost every person who has an expensive car owns also a bike. Plus, due to the traffic jam, many people switched from cars to bikes as they arrive by bike much earlier at work, etc. However, finding good insurance for bikes is quite a challenge, but it isn't impossible. I have my insurance from simplebikeinsurance.com/ which offers a lot of policies at a reasonable price. So, I recommend it with big confidence.

It's only a little appealing to me. Bicycles are used a primary or secondary transportation in many societies, and are used for exercise and sports in others.
To do it right, however, might entail a whole new retail line of sporting goods.
I'm not experienced enough to judge the impact on resource industries, but I expect there would be some tuning involved in order to achieve balance.
