Hey everyone! I thought it would be really cool if I did a quick comparison of the different prices of objects in SimCo and the industries, then compared them to real life, so here is a chart that I have pulled together! Note: This is being produced on November 28th 2021, during boom, so prices are sure to fluctuate! Note 2: UK prices Agriculture: Product | Exchange Price | Real life price | Seeds (Apple) | $0.25 | $0.50 | Apples (2) | $2.2 | $0.75 | Oranges (3) | $2.1 | $1.5 | Grapes (1 Bunch) | $2.5 | $2 | Grain (1 Bundle) | $0.7 | $4 | Sugarcane (6 Stalks) | $1.44 | $6 | Cotton | $1.25 | $2 | Cow | $107 | $400 | Pig | $35.75 | $60 | Coffee Beans (1 Bag) | $0.68 | $3 | Cocoa | $1.03 | $2 | Vegetables (Assortment) | $2.2 | $3 | Fodder (Small pile) | $9.7 | $11 |
As we can tell, a majority of these agriculture items are more expensive in real life. This makes sense, as to help newer players make their first money, it is important that prices are low, so that they can survive a few mistakes, and continue to grow and expand their business. Then, the further into farming you get (Cows and pigs), things get more expensive, despite still having a big gap to the real life prices! Stay tuned for the next industries being added to this chart! I'll try to add one per day! Let me know what you thing
