This has come up a few times in game chat. Whatever the reason we always seem to forget the math(s). This is for all you math geniuses out there... (I am not one of those). The question: How many combinations of buildings are there? The assumed values: 18 max building slots 48 max buildings Building levels was assumed at level 1 (if you want to figure it out based on building levels... comment below). What was used: Permutation and Combination calculator www.calculator.net/permutation-and-combination-calculator.html?cnv=48&crv=18&x=88&y=19Result: Permutations: = 46,800,308,209,025,866,907,123,712,000 Combinations: = 7,309,837,001,104

If calculating the same thing for buildings that can go up to lvl 2 is simple as multiplying 48 by 2, we don't need to calculate more. By changing 48 to 96 in the provided link I got number that is 1.87 MILLION TIMES bigger than the original one. Exponential math is scary
