I am supposed to be a smart guy but I appear to have been humbled right out of the gate. It's not clear to me how wages are calculated... Here is a simple example.
I bought oranges for $1.78 each. I am selling 400 at my initial grocery store for $4.6 each. Somehow the wage price per unit is $2.078. I thought it would be this: 2hours*$138/hour grocer wage divided by 400 units is $0.69/unit.
Please tell me what is happening!!! Thanks.

Ok I just realized after some trial and error that the game mixes up in-game units of hours with real life hours. One hour in game is only 20min in real life, so there is a factor of 3. This is how I end up with $0.69 instead of *3 which is $2.07. Thanks game for being clear as mud.

Is your grocery store at lvl 3? In this case your wages would be multiplied by 3 because the oranges sell 3 times as fast. The encyclopedia shows wages/hr at lvl 1.

I am selling economy e-cars, and the wages do not make sense.
If the price falls below the median sell price, the wage goes up, if the sell price goes above the median sell price, the wages increase. Wouldn't the wages stay the same regardless what the retail selling price is? I thought the higher the price, the longer it takes to sell?
