Do you find my explanation too short? Leave a comment and I'll do my best to clarify. So why hasn't this been implemented yet? imo, it should work the following way: - pay upfront
- upon match; fees are subtracted before payment reaching the seller
- easy and free cancellation of remaining order at any time
- orders can be made even if it immediately gets partially/completely fulfilled by existing sell orders
- finding a match cheaper than established order gives refund.
- - basically auto buyer bots, but cheaper on data and helps balancing the market.
(image as a general possible outlook. live charts should react to product quality filter) ( ps.: I wanna send a contract in a way that I can look away for a second without it becoming obsolete cuz the market is too fragile, buy orders can help slow down fluctuations )

Okay, so I see it's basically the most asked idea on the forums, nevertheless, I think I like the image I made. I don't understand why it hasn't been implemented yet.
My inspiration for the charts came from the Steam Community market

I've been playing for a little while now and was wondering the same thing. This would be a great addition! It could be similar to the government orders where people could search for buy orders by product and sort based on price. Perhaps being able to automatically fill/close the order after x amount of $$ has been spent or be able to set a stop on buying once available funds reach x amount.
Another nice addition would be to set a daily amount of x product and it would pause the order until the following day once the daily amount was met.

I really hope this can be done!
i believe this is more like depth of market or electronic real exchange.

At least some of your proposed features will be in the long term contracts (no matter how long it takes), so don’t worry too much
