I was happy to let an Exec go, as she was close to retirement, and since the offer was substantially ($18K) above the Salary I currently have.
So I am surprised that the offer disappeared and the Exec is still here. WTHey!
I propose two changes:
1) Give the company with the Exec the option to let the Exec go (as an alternative to giving a Raise) - with no penalty (the 3 days pay).
If someone is willing to take them and I have no objection, why not let them have the Exec immediately? They shouldn't have to wait, and I shouldn't be penalized for consenting to a mutually (to 3 parties) acceptable outcome.
2) If you don't give the Exec a Raise and the Exec decides to "stay", then have the Personal Assistant send a message that they rejected the offer.
It shouldn't be a surprise that the Exec is still there - makes it seem like a bug. There needs to be some kind of feedback in the game system.
Unfortunately, I prepared for that Exec to leave, and switched a new Staffer into their role, and needed to expend some simboosts to complete their training so that they were ready during my next setup of retail sales and production runs. Ugh!
