Currently the Demand Equation is a long string in a table ("(Math.pow(price*1.101282 + (-705.174461 + (saturation - 0.5)/0.013748), 2.000000) *0.053480 + 1139.813186) *amount"), which is useful if going the coding route, because all the variables are already in the string so it will automatically update when fetched. Now if you are not going the code route and decide to use Excel to pull the Api Json table, then the string is creating a hinderance. Since in Excel, it can't convert the string into an equation, especially the price & saturation variables. My solution I am offering is to have the A, B, C, D, E, & S variables ( www.simcompanies.com/newspaper/0/138/) be included in the Json table, as this will allow the variables to just be called upon into an equation and every item gets refreshed with the click of a button and not single handily refreshed for every item.
