The idea is to maybe have a day and night cycle depending on the time of day for each player. I think having a night map would look pretty nice with the addition of some lighting coming from the buildings windows or by the front door anywhere the lighting would look nice or normal. Besides lighting from the buildings there can be street lamps along the sidewalk for some extra lights on the map. Another thing I think would be nice about it would be when one goes and checks a players map they can see if its day or night where they are from. Can have a design for early morning, afternoon, night and a late night.
That's about it for this idea. If anyone has any additions to the idea I'd like to hear it.
Thanks for Listening, ThatCompanyllc

Not bad, but with current workforce capacity, functional improvements seems much more important than visual ones.
To add some ideas, each factory has its open air warehouse where produced stock appears in boxes. When starting production field is empty, and it slowly fills up until end of production. If factory is idle, there is no smoke coming out of chimney.
Retail stores has a queue of buyers in front of store. It gets shorter as more products are sold and when everything is sold there is no queue and while store is idle, appears sign closed in front window.

It would be interesting to have a global map, where you could identify the player's real location and know the exact time of the same .. thus facilitating the negotiation and delivery of orders, because one of the biggest problems identified by Brazilians is making contracts with foreigners because of the time zone hours impact directly on the closing of the balance sheet at 10 pm .. since from 6 pm onwards, contracts most of the time remain many hours until they are acquired by buyers
