The sale (resale) of goods has been extremely disproportionate to the income that a factory itself can generate daily, and many companies have taken advantage of this to grow, generally taking advantage of new players who do not yet know the game's economy, discouraging them with the SC.
Bearing in mind the problems that the trader generates in the game's economy itself, my suggestion is that a linked item system be created, which would basically work as follows, for 48 hours after purchase, the item is locked in inventory and can only be be used for production or sale in a building, and cannot be sold again through contracts or on the market until the period of time has been completed.
The problem is not the trader itself, but the volume of merchandise moved, with this system, without a doubt the quantity of merchandise traded via trader would be much smaller and would result in a fairer game for everyone.

The problem is that reselling is very, very legal in Sim Companies, and this stick cannot be taken out without bringing the whole Jenga tower down.

And, you have the control over what to do with resellers. There is quite literally no point in making a rule that would largely be extremely unpopular.
