I've already pitched this idea on another thread this thread is purely to add pricing and costs to each of the suggested buildings and products.
Record label Building:
Price: $75000
Scouting costs: $10/hr (it cam take up to 24 to find an artist)
Contract Terms: signing bonus can be negotiated up to : $1.5 million (max)
Artist Royalties: Can also be negotiated on contract terms. min royalty = 5% per purchase/listen of music
Artist cut of tour tickets: Also contract negotiable: min cut = 80% max cut = 95%
manager costs: $25000-$100000 per album
Producer cut of royalties: min 15% max 40%
marketing costs: max of $350000
Tour costs:$25000-$2500000
Tour income:
Tickets:$25-$100 per sale
Merchandise:$25-$75 per sale
Sponsors: determined by contract from other companies can give sales boost of 15% max.
CD/Vinyl production:
Price of building:$45000
Production costs: $0.75 per CD/Vinyl
How profit made?
Contracts from label that cover and pay for the CD/vinyl's to be produced.
Or they come as a cost to the label if bill not outsourced to another production company.
Streaming service:
Price:$150000
Costs:
Admin:$150/hr
Servers:$15000 to build max listener base per server= 150000
Income contracts with Labels to take a cut of the pay for each listen of a song. Or they are paid by advertisers being other businesses increasing that businesses sales for determined time by contract, also price per hour of promotion on stream service = $5000/hr of promotion. Streaming services can have multiple promoters at once. 25% sales boost max.
CD/Vinyl store:
Cost:$45000
Admin:$25/hr
Price of CD:$15
Price of Vinyl:$35
Note: music stores don't get full profits as a cut of the price goes to the records label to account for records sales. the cut size can be negotiated by contract. If the stores is owned by the label the stores ill make no profits and will instead have the money added to the label's profits instead.
Please reply to my system down below and possibly give me any tips on how to compose this better.
