I have mentioned it to Patrik already, but let's hear what others have to say.
Who here would like a button on the map that gathers all the resources at once instead of clicking on each building. Not only does it save time from accidental clicks into the building, but would only have 1 request to the server instead of 5+ from each user.
Thoughts?

I agree, it's not like there's a good reason not to collect anything that a building produces anyway.

I admit I think this is something that would help perhaps make things easier for players and server alike. The less interaction for a commodities collection the less I think the server is pinged and the easier and more convenient it is for all of us as players.

I don't see any downsides to this idea. The only question is where the button will actually be.

I played this game clash of clans where earlier there was no one click to collect resources and you had to tap on all the collectors..this system was replaced by an option where you could tap on any one of the collector building and it would collect resources from all the collector buildings. Something like that can be implemented into the game without the need for a seperate button

I like the idea. And to expand a bit on it, in my situation where I have all Power Plants, it would be nice as well to just start them all for 24 hrs of production instead of one at a time. Probably not likely to happen, but would be swell. Cheers all!

Actually, I can only imagine that happening as a tab under the HQ where its a list of buildings much like how the products inside the buildings look.

Actually, I will go one better...
Why not just have it automatically go to cash (for stores), or inventory (for factories, farms, etc)?
I don't see the value in having it sit to be collected.
If it is for game engagement, we have the daily simboost for that, as well as chats for player interaction.
In fact, the downside of having this collection process is if, for some reason, one cannot come back to the game to click each store for collection, and the cash balance is already low (because of an investment made early in the day - e.g. building upgrade), there is a danger that interest payments are missed and executives go on strike.
Ask me how I know.
Got rather p*ssed about this needless complication.

Totally a need... I hate clicking uselessly. I dont understand why they don't go to warehouse directly either. So both main and semperfi's suggestion is good i think.

Ugh! Ran into this problem again last night. Made a big purchase on the Exchange, which ran low my funds. BUT, sales were coming at a high rate.
I missed clicking on the buildings by a few minutes, so all Execs are on strike for 24 hours!
The irony is I could cover the salaries >2x over with what was sitting on the buildings.
This clicking to collect business is an unnecessary burden.

I think I said this somewhere else talking about the same thing. My opinion instead of one click just have it automatically goto the warehouse. No need to click anything or put an option to auto collect in the hq.

No need to click anything or put an option to auto collect in the hq. I believe it is this way because not everyone wants the sales offices or stores to collect automatically due to Accounting Overhead. I think there should just be one button to click instead of the server getting 10-15 request from each person. It can become redundant and cause undue traffic on the server. Not to mention the resources when there are classrooms of children doing the same thing on the same connection.
