Hi
when we want to buy an amount that exceeds the offered amount at the lowest price, the price will be higher.
Obvious for most players who have played some days beyond registering.
But now the quest how to present myself or others that info, and even calculate it. I picture a plot of mean price for a certain day on one axis, and quantity on the other axis.
Representing time/date also would make it 3D. Beyond spreadsheets features?
Calculation of datapoints of a plot of price and amounts for a certain moment for a certain product I guess I could do by saving a exchange webpage, extracting the quantities and prices and calculate the mean per quantity.
Now the quest for calculation of the mean per quantity for a whole day or period.
Until now my head dazzels thinking about that, has not shouted "Eureka!", while throwing papers with calculations across the office.
I guess calculation would become possible if exchange sell-order placements, cancellations and (anonimized) sales/order fillings info would become available. I think, saving a exchange webpage for every product every second would form a heavy workload for the simcompanies server, impossible to do and even not be enough info. The difference between sale order cancellations and filling is not distinguishable. A sale order disappearance can imply both.
Thoughts anyone?
