Inclusion in the accounting report (P&L) of the profits of each business sector.
Such information is currently not segregated and with this information in hand, we can have several relevant perceptions, including changes in focus for each player.
So that this suggestion for improvement is not more of a 'problem' than a solution, the focus is exclusively on the segregation of gross profit, without the need to multiply the size of the report on the accounting pages. It would even be interesting to have a 'button' where it is possible to expand or hide the information of the sectors.
Example: My current business is segregated by 6 different types of producing buildings, so each day, my P&L informs me of the following hypothetical information:
Gross Profit = Sales 1,000,000.00 – COGS 700,000.00 – Freight 150,000.00
Total Gross Profit = 150,000.00
It would be of great value to open this final gross profit of 150,000.00 per type of building. In my case, it would probably be something along the lines of the following:
Vertical installation = 110,600.00
Propulsion plant: 14,800.00
Factory = 20,350.00
Electronics factory = 3,250.00
Aerospace factory = 1,000.00
Actually P&L
Gross profit
Sales 1.000.000,00
Cost of goods sold -700.000,00
Freight Cost -150.000,00
Result: 150.000,00
Operating Expenses (continue as they are today)
Projection
Gross profit
Sales 1.000.000,00
Cost of goods sold -700.000,00
Freight Cost -150.000,00
Result: 150.000,00 (Botton to show/hidden the 150.000,00 with business)
Vertical installation = 110,600.00
Propulsion plant: 14,800.00
Factory = 20,350.00
Electronics factory = 3,250.00
Aerospace factory = 1,000.00
Operating Expenses (continue as they are today)
What do you think? It will give another visibility of each sector, right?
